mber Rose has always been an advocate for body positivity and sex positivity. She started Slut Walk, the aim of which is to raise awareness about rape culture, sexual injustice, and gender inequality while also providing a safe, inclusive, and uplifting space. She’s proud of her body and encourages others to feel the same about theirs. Unfortunately, as we all know, sometimes being proud of our bodies can spark controversy (however undeserved), and after she posted a photo of herself to Instagram that was removed for policy violation, she followed it up with another post questioning the policy.

The original (NSFW) photo is of Amber Rose reclining on a set of stairs, oiled up and wearing a bikini top, coat, choker, sunglasses, and heels — but naked from the waist down. She looks absolutely amazing in the shot and shared the photo to Instagram. However, it was deleted by the platform shortly after, but many folks had already seen it, and Amber Rose posted another Instagram reacting to the decision to remove it.

The new post is a video, and while she doesn’t say a word in it, her facial expressions say everything she needed to say. The caption says, “When IG deletes ur fire ass feminist post but you really don’t give a fuck because everyone picked it up already.” Instagram has a history of deleting photos of women, which has become a source of contention among some users. She also included the hashtag #bringbackthebush, which we’re totally here for.
